Payment security, 3-D Secure, screening and fraud protection.

BRENDYS never asks for a full card number, PIN or one-time bank code by email, phone or chat. Where online payment is available for a contract, it is handled on a secure partner page.

An order may be delayed to verify identity, payment instrument, address, source of funds or recipient. We use the minimum necessary data and do not make a solely automated legally significant decision without a review opportunity where required.

Available payment methods are those displayed for the destination and transaction. Payment may involve authorisation followed by capture. BRENDYS does not claim to be a bank, payment institution or regulated AML provider; it applies proportionate commerce, sanctions and fraud controls with its providers.

The following requirements form part of this policy and are read together with transaction-specific information and mandatory law.

  • Do not send full card number, PIN or one-time bank code by email, chat or telephone.
  • Billing and delivery details must be accurate and the payer must authorise the payment.
  • Third-party payment may require explanation or be refused for a high-value order.
  • Multiple attempts, device anomalies, mismatched addresses, unsupported bank country, unusual routing or prior chargeback may trigger review.
  • An authorisation can expire or be released if an order is not accepted.
  • BRENDYS may request identity, address, cardholder relationship or source-of-funds context where proportionate and lawful.
  • Chargeback rights must not be abused after receiving or retaining goods.

BRENDYS follows a proportionate process designed to protect clients, the Maison and lawful commerce.

  • The provider attempts authorisation.
  • Automated and manual risk checks may occur.
  • Additional information may be requested through an official channel.
  • BRENDYS accepts, declines or cancels the request; no reason is disclosed where doing so would weaken security.
  • Released and refunded funds may take time to appear under issuer rules.

Provide accurate information, protect account access, follow product and service instructions and respond promptly to proportionate verification requests. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

These examples illustrate operation of the policy and do not replace fact-specific review or mandatory law.

Where reasonably necessary, BRENDYS may pause a transaction, request verification, correct information, restrict a feature, cancel an unaccepted order, preserve records, remove infringing material or decline service. Measures are proportionate and subject to mandatory rights.

Nothing excludes liability or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded. A transaction-specific confirmation, invoice or negotiated contract may contain more specific terms to the extent permitted by law.
