Withdrawal, returns, product condition, exceptions and refund timing.
For most distance purchases, EU consumers have 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason. The period and instructions appear in the order confirmation. The right does not apply to personalized goods and other lawful exceptions.
Products may be inspected as needed to establish their nature and characteristics. The client is responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond that inspection. Hygiene seals and protective components must remain intact where applicable.
Refunds use the original method after goods are received or dispatch is evidenced, within mandatory time limits. Additional costs for a more expensive delivery method selected by the client may not be refundable.
Where EU distance-selling rules apply, many consumers may withdraw within 14 days from delivery without giving a reason. The order confirmation identifies the Seller, instructions and any product-specific exception. Mandatory rights for faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods are separate from a change-of-mind return.
The following requirements form part of this policy and are read together with transaction-specific information and mandatory law.
- Notify Client Services within the applicable period and identify the order and object.
- Return the complete object with labels, hygiene seals, accessories, protective materials and packaging where reasonably possible.
- Inspection may establish authenticity, completeness, wear, odour, washing, alteration, contamination and damage.
- Handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect may reduce the refund where law allows.
- Personalised, made-to-measure, altered, opened sealed, hygiene-sensitive, gift-card and begun digital-content items may be excluded only where applicable law permits.
- For a voluntary return, the client bears direct return cost where disclosed; BRENDYS bears reasonable cost for a confirmed wrong, defective or transit-damaged item.
- Refunds use the original method unless another lawful arrangement is agreed and may wait for receipt or evidence of return.
- Premium delivery upgrades may not be refundable beyond the least expensive standard method where law permits.
BRENDYS follows a proportionate process designed to protect clients, the Maison and lawful commerce.
- Contact support and receive return instructions.
- Pack securely and use the instructed tracked or insured service.
- BRENDYS records receipt and inspects the object.
- The client is informed of approval, diminished value, refusal reason or available defect remedy.
- Approved reimbursement is initiated within the applicable period; bank posting time remains outside BRENDYS control.
Provide accurate information, protect account access, follow product and service instructions and respond promptly to proportionate verification requests. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
These examples illustrate operation of the policy and do not replace fact-specific review or mandatory law.
Where reasonably necessary, BRENDYS may pause a transaction, request verification, correct information, restrict a feature, cancel an unaccepted order, preserve records, remove infringing material or decline service. Measures are proportionate and subject to mandatory rights.
Nothing excludes liability or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded. A transaction-specific confirmation, invoice or negotiated contract may contain more specific terms to the extent permitted by law.
